| Checklist of clearance stuff

NO DUE CERTIFICATE: INITIALIZE THIS PROCEDURE BEFORE YOUR FINAL YEAR
EXAMS
- Take two nodue certificate template from the clerk. You need to take
two copies of nodue certificates.
- Return the books to Librarian and get his signature. You may need to show
all the 4 years fees receipts to Mr. Veeraiah to get the Accounts Clearance.
But argue if you miss one or two. Don’t give him any money even if he demands
any. You can even approach Principal.
- Get all other relevant signatures
- After getting all the signatures, take atleast two Xerox copies and
preserve them. You may need them at a later stage for getting the Caution
Deposit back.
FINAL YEAR MARKS MEMO
- You need to show one nodue certificate(need not give him the nodue
certificate) and late fee challan to get the final years marks
memo.
PROVISIONAL CERTIFICATE & CONSOLIDATED MARKS MEMO
- Provisional Certificate
- Take a challan for Rs.85/- from AB, Kukatpally
- Show the challan in Exams section (where we take HallTickets) and get the
"Application for Provisional Certificate"
- Attach Attested copies of 4 years’ marks memo (prefarably from CSE Dept)
- Also, a teaching staff should sign on the back of "Application for
Provisional Certificate) – prefarably from CSE Dept
- Write a Covering letter addressed to Principal with the following
enclosures
- Bank Challan Rs.85/-
- Application for Provisional Certificate
- Attested copies of 4 years marks memo Xerox
- Original No Dues Certificates (Make sure that you take 2-3 copies of
Xerox before attaching the copies)
- Get the covering letter signed by the Principal (hey, I had some trouble
finding Principal’s room today – never gone there before – you know where it
is ? )
- Give the Documents in examination section
- The examination section consolidates all applications received that day,
and issue a covering letter to Controller of Exams, JNTU MasabTank at approx
2pm ( which may contain all applications received that day).
- One of the bakra should submit the Covering letter to Mr. K.S.Sharma, JNTU
MasabTank (4th Floor). Mostly, he will not be available @ his seat.
Hence, give the cover to the Office Boy who stands in the opp. Block. He
understands what the cover is.
- The next day, go to Masab Tank (better to go around 3-30pm to collect your
Provisional Certificate ( I am sure u will be amazed to see that – you need to
struggle a lot to get that shit of paper). Don’t forget to carry your
JNTU Identity Card
- You need to wait for around 2 weeks or so to get the Consolidated marks
memo after you get the provisional
- You may be asked to submit the attested copy of first year marks memo to
give us the consolidated marks memo.
DEGREE CERTIFICATE - Checklist Look in Outlook
- Xerox copy of Provisional
- 2-4 copies of passport size photographs (Better carry some passport size
photographs always with you)
- Your US offer letter
- An urgency letter from your US employer clearly stating the need of Degree
Certificate.
- A covering letter by you addressed to Additional Controller of Exams (Mr.
Sharma, III Floor JNTU, Masab tank)
- You need to personally talk with him and convince him. He will put the
initial on the covering letter and direct you to the clerk.
- The clerk will give you a Challan form. You need to pay a challan for
around Rs. 350/-(Ask the clerk for the exact amount) at the Andhra Bank
besides the JNTU bldg (Timings 10 AM to 2 PM).
- After paying the challan and showing it to the clerk he’ll give you an
application form. (You need to affix one passport to that – Better carry
stapler and gum stick). Fill it up and submit it with the clerk.
- Follow it every 5 days after the intial 20 days. (Better go and check
personally). It may take around 30 days.
MIGRATION CERTIFICATE, TC cum CONDUCT CERTIFICATE
(This can be done parallel with Degree Certificate and caution deposit)
- One covering letter to principal
- Xerox copy of provisional
CAUTION DEPOSIT – Check List
- Xerox copy of No Due certificate
- Xerox copy of provisional
- Covering letter to Principal (initially signed by a Clerk)
- Revenue stamp
- You’ll get a check in your name (you need to go again to college after may
be 2 days to collect it).
MS PROGRAM IN US
- Take one from Head of the Department Mr. Vinay Babu, one from a Professor
(He should have a Ph. D)-Dr. G. Sagar, one from anybody N. Vijay Kumar Reddy
Mathematics Dept.– better to take it from other than computer department)
- First approach the Professors from whom you want to take the RLs. Prepare
the rough drafts. Show them, make necessary modifications.
- Print the Letter Heads from the press near our college.
- Take around 20 letters from each professor. Put that letter in a cover,
close it and get the signature of the professor on the cover and stamp as a
seal.
- ATTESTED COPIES FROM REGISTRAR, JNTU
- You need to submit one Degree Certificate copy and one Consolidated marks
memo copy to each university you apply for MS that are duly attested by our
Registrar, JNTU. To get the registrar attestation of registrar, you need to
get principals attestation and one of our staff members attestation. Take
around 10.
- Take around 10 xerox copies of DC, CMM, get the attestation of one of our
staff members, principal and then registrar.
- For each signature of Registrar you need to take a DD in favour of
Registrar, JNTU, Hyderabad. For 20 signatures take DD of Rs, 200/-. Before
going to Principal take the DD
INTERNATIONAL DRIVING PERMIT (IDP) – Better take this before leaving. In some
states in US it’s only valid upto one month after issue, in some states upto 3
months.
- Indian driving license, original and xerox. Better take the driving
license as per your passport address.
- 3 passport size photographs
- Passport, original and xerox
- Fill up the application form available at RTA office (for RR district).
While submitting the application you need to show the original passport and
driving license.
IT CLEARANCE – Take before your travel date. It’s only valid for one month
after issue
- Tax return forms submitted be you every year.
- One xerox copy of passport
- US Offer letter
- Your contract or letter from your employer clearly stating that he’s going
to provide the air tickets
